Vidyadhan Scholarship 2026
Vidyadhan Scholarship Program from Sarojini Damodaran Foundation supports the college education of meritorious students from economically challenged families. The students are selected after completion of 10th grade /SSLC through a rigorous selection process including test and interview. Currently Vidyadhan program has around 13,000 students across the following states: Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Goa, Odisha, New Delhi, Ladhak, Bihar, Jharkhand, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, and West Bengal.
Those selected will be eligible for two year scholarship from the Foundation. If they continue to do well, they will be given scholarship for pursuing any degree course of their interest; these scholarships are directly through the foundation or external sponsors who have registered with the Foundation. The scholarship amount for graduation courses varies from Rs 10,000 to Rs 75,000 per year depending on the state, course, duration etc. The selected students will be required to attend the mentoring programs from the Foundation.
- Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Applicants must be Indian citizens.
- This scholarship is open to both genders and all categories.
- Applicants must be residents of the following states: Karnataka, Telangana, Kerala, Puducherry, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat, Bihar, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Delhi, Ladakh (Jammu & Kashmir), Goa, Odisha, Haryana, Chandigarh, Punjab, West Bengal, and Uttar Pradesh.
- The annual family income should be less than Rs. 2,00,000.
- Applicants must have completed their 10th Grade/SSC exam in 2025.
- Applicants must have achieved a full A+ / A1 in their SSLC examination or CBSE Std X.
- Physically challenged students must have attained a full A for consideration.
- Applicants must have scored 90% or 9 CGPA in their 10th Grade/SSC exam.
- For students with disabilities, the cutoff is 75% or 7.5 CGPA.
- This scholarship is applicable for students in both Classes 11 and 12.
- Scholarship amounts for 11th and 12th grades will be a maximum of Rs. 10,000/- year
