IET India Scholarship Award 2026
- Open to students enrolled in any year of a full-time undergraduate engineering program (in any discipline) approved by the All India Council for Technical Education or the University Grants Commission.
- Applicants must have successfully cleared all credit courses in a single attempt, with no backlogs.
- A minimum aggregate of 60% marks or a CGPA of 6.0 on a 10-point scale (or equivalent) in the semesters completed so far is required.
- There is no age limit for applicants.
- The application is open to both IET members and non-members across all engineering branches recognised by AICTE/UGC.
- Students admitted through lateral entry into the second year of a B.Tech program are also eligible to apply.
- Selected scholars will receive scholarship awards as detailed below:
Regional Round of Selection
- The selection process will be conducted across five regional centres: Hyderabad, Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata, and Mumbai.
- Regional Round Winner: INR 1,00,000 along with a trophy, certificate, and one-year IET membership.
- Regional Round Runner-up: INR 75,000 along with a trophy, certificate, and one-year IET membership.
- All students who participate in the Regional Rounds will also receive a goodie bag worth 2000.
National Finals
- Winners from the regional rounds will advance to compete in the national finals.
- National Winner: INR 6,00,000 along with a trophy, certificate, and one-year IET membership.
- First Runner-up: INR 3,00,000 along with a trophy, certificate, and one-year IET membership.
- Second Runner-up: INR 2,00,000 along with a trophy, certificate, and one-year IET membership.
Note: In case a student qualifies at both the regional and national levels, they will receive certificates for both stages; however, the prize money awarded will be for the national level only.
- No documents are required to be attached at the time of application.
