The Mohan T Advani Centennial Scholarship Programme 2026-27 is a flagship CSR initiative by Blue Star Foundation, dedicated to breaking financial barriers for deserving students aspiring to build careers in engineering and architecture. The programme extends scholarship support of up to INR 1,00,000 to first and second-year students enrolled in undergraduate degree or diploma programmes across selected private and government institutions in India, enabling them to pursue quality technical education without financial constraints.

About Blue Star Foundation

The Blue Star Foundation, established in 1982, is the philanthropic arm of Blue Star Limited, India’s leading air conditioning and commercial refrigeration company. Its recent flagship initiative, the Mohan T Advani Centennial Scholarship Programme, supports underprivileged students, aiming to facilitate equitable access to higher education for individuals demonstrating good academic records but facing financial constraints

  • First and second-year students enrolled in a degree programme in architecture or engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, IT, CS, and related STEM fields; Civil Engineering excluded).
  • Applicants must demonstrate a good academic track record.
  • Minimum academic score requirements:
    • First-year students: 80% in both Class 10 and Class 12.
    • Second-year students: 80% in Class 12 and 75% in the first year.
  • Must be enrolled in a college from the list approved by the Blue Star Foundation.
  • Annual family income from all sources must be less than INR 6 lakh (up to INR 10 lakh for West zone colleges subject to need; preference will be given to students with a total family income of INR 0–6 lakh.)
  • Children of Buddy4Study, Blue Star and Blue Star Foundation employees are not eligible.

Note:

  • The list of colleges may be revised by the scholarship provider.
  • Preference will be given to female applicants.

Seleced students will receive INR 1,00,000 or 75% of academic fee, whichever is lower.

Note:

  • Scholarship funds are disbursed directly to the enrolled institution.
  • The scholarship covers academic fees (tuition, admission, and exam fees) only. Hostel, mess, device, and book expenses are not covered.
  • Passport-size photograph of the applicant
  • Proof of admission (Admission letter/Institution ID Card, etc.) for enrollment in degree or diploma programs in architecture or engineering courses.
  • Payment receipts/Demand draft for educational expenses from colleges.
  • Mark sheets of the previous two classes/semesters/years (whichever is applicable).
  • Proof of family income (any one of the following documents):
    • Income Tax Return Statement
    • Salary Slip
    • Form 16 (if salaried)
    • BPL/Ration Card
    • Income proof certificate signed by the concerned government authority
    • Certificate from the concerned authorities for individuals with income from agriculture, horticulture, and veterinary sources
    • Affidavit for orphans/single-parent children (where the family lost the earning member)
  • Proof of identity/address (Voter ID Card, Driving License, etc.)
