Dr. Reddy's Foundation Sashakt Scholarship 2026
The DRF Sashakt Scholarship, an initiative by Dr. Reddy’s Foundation, aims to empower academically bright young women across India by supporting their aspirations in science. The program provides financial aid to pursue undergraduate studies in pure or natural sciences at some of the country’s most prestigious institutions. Special preference is given to girls from rural and economically weaker backgrounds who exhibit a strong interest in scientific research.
- Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Applicants must be Indian female students who have completed Class XII from a recognized board.
- Must have an excellent academic record.
- Should be pursuing B.Sc. in pure/natural sciences, B.Tech, or MBBS.
- Preference given to girls from rural or economically disadvantaged backgrounds.
- Must have confirmed admission in one of the listed premier institutions.
- Annual family income must be less than 5,00,000 (proof required). Strong interest in scientific research is expected.
- Financial support of up to 80,000 per year.
- Coverage for all three years of the undergraduate science program (B.Sc.).
- Scholarships awarded only to candidates with confirmed admission in listed top-tier science colleges.
- Access to a network of mentors and support from the Dr. Reddy’s Foundation.
- Encouragement and resources for aspiring women researchers.
- Applicants submit the following documents:

- Income Certificate (Mandatory if applicable)
