IISER Berhampur Post Doctoral Research Fellowship
IISER Berhampur Post Doctoral Research Fellowship (PDRF)2025-26 is an initiative by the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Berhampur (IISER Berhampur) for Post-Doctoral research fellowship in the Department of Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Physical Sciences, Earth & Environmental Sciences and Computer Science. The selected applicants will receive a fellowship of up to ₹67,000 and other benefits.
- be an Indian or foreign national
- be below the age of 35 years on the date of application
- hold a Ph.D. degree in the respective field of study
- must have a good academic record
- must have 5 years of experience after obtaining the Ph.D. degree
The selected candidates will receive the following benefits:

| Research Associates (For candidates who have submitted a thesis but Ph.D. degree is awaited) | N/A | ₹42,000 per month and HRA |
| Postdoctoral Research Fellows | Up to 1 year | ₹58,000 and HRA |
| Postdoctoral Research Fellows | More than 1 year and up to 2 years | ₹61,000 and HRA |
| Postdoctoral Research Fellows | More than 2 years | ₹67,000 and HRA |
- Note:- Ph.D. holders will be appointed as Postdoctoral Research Fellows (PDRFs), initially for 1 year, renewable annually for up to 3 years based on performance evaluations. Those without a Ph.D. will be appointed as Research Associates (RAs).
